Our Team

Our Community team is made up within the Bulldogs Boxing & Community Activities Registered Charity which was formed in April 2014. The team is responsible for funding and activities delivering The Bulldogs 5 Pillar Programme. See our Community Team below.

Ceri is our CEO/Grants Manager. With previous experience in funding applications/project Management and Fitness, Ceri is responsible for locating funding for the charity.

Sams’ background is in office management and teaching an array of employability skills. and also has experience in childcare and nutrition. Sam is responsible for managing the various projects within The Bulldogs, overseeing the team to ensure we are providing the best possible services for you.

Gym and Education Co-Ordinator

Ella is qualified Teacher, responsible for organising and delivering our Youth Engagement and Education Programme and various Youth Activities. Ella is also qualified as a Level 3 Personal Trainer, Pilates and Kettle Bells Instructor and is trained in GP referral.


Peter Jones

Veterans First Point of Contact

Peter is an Armed Forces Veteran – serving in the Royal Artillery who initially came to The Bulldogs to train and volunteer. Pete helps to organise our weekly Veteran Drop in - helping veterans settle into civvy life by introducing them to our various veteran Support Organisations who can assist with employment, training, housing and more.

Youth Co-Ordinator and Facilities Officer

Simon has years of experience working with young people and currently supports our Youth Projects. Simon is also a qualified and experienced WABA Boxing Coach and deals with all the secretarial work of the boxing club.

Outdoor and Fitness Co-ordinator

Simon is a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer and is highly qualified in various Outdoor fitness activities including Mountain Biking and Nordic Walking. Simon is also  qualified in GP Referrals.

As well as delivering various fitness sessions, Simon organises our outdoor Bootcamps and Team Building Activities.

Matthew is a qualified Personal Trainer with years of expereince as a Youth Worker. As well as helping to deliver our fitness classes, Matthew plays an active role in our Youth Club, delivering a range of fitness activities to our School Groups and providing one to one youth provision.

Shane Miller

Bulldogs Fitness Instructor

Shane has recently qualified as a Fitness Instructor but has been boxing with the club for years as well as volunteering with our daytime activities. You will see Shane in the gym, delivering classes as well as assisting with our school groups and providing one-to-one mentoring with our youth members.
