Giving people a Fighting Chance is our motto. We can help you fight back by giving you the tools to progress into employment/further learning or volunteering. 

We work closely with schools and other organisations supporting the youth to provide additional education, fitness, communication skills, building better peer relationships, resilience, self-esteem, confidence and self-discipline.

We can also help to prepare you for the world of work- writing CV’s, finding and applying for jobs and going for interviews.

The Bulldogs- Bridges to a Brighter Future

FREE for those ages 16-24 years of age not in Education, Employment or Training

Mondays,Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10.00-3.00 for 13 weeks

Agored Accredited Zones 

Tuesdays 9.30-11.30, Thursdays 10.30-12.30 or  12.30-2.30, Fridays 12.00-2.00

Level 1 Award in Personal Development – Done over 15 hours. Looking at:

  • SMART Goals 
  • Positive Identity
  • Strengths
  • Confidence 

Level 1 Award in Personal Development through Physical Fitness- Done over 15 hours. Looking at:

  • The Leisure Industry
  • Goal setting
  • Physical exercises
  • Motivation

Done over a period of 30 hours (can be done in 1 or 2 hour slots)  and will include physical fitness throughout.

Level 1 Unit in Gym Based Activities- Done over 10 hours. Looking at:

  • Physical exercises
  • Health and Safety
  • Planning physical exercercises

Fitness Zone

We can offer a range of exercises to help young people with their physical fitness. All our sessions are inclusive and can be tailored to suit different levels of fitness, physical ability and age. Just let us know your requirements and we can design a bespoke fitness plan for your group.

  • We can accommodate up to 15 young people at our Gym based in Baglan Moors. We can carry out numerous fitness activities including non-contact boxing.
  • The Bulldogs can provide fitness sessions at your premises including non-contact boxing skills.
  • As well as fitness, young people can gain other valuable tools to help them improve their overall health and well-being including communication skills, social interaction, information on nutrition, confidence, motivation, listening to and taking instruction –all transferable life skills.
